Lafayette's journey came to an end just shy of his 85th birthday, leaving behind a tapestry of memories woven through love, laughter, and unwavering spirit.

A visitation will be held on October 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. This will be a time to come together, share stories, and bask in the warmth of memories.

The celebration of Lafayette’s life will continue the following day, October 4, 2025, at 11:30 AM during his funeral service at Greater Faith Chapel, situated at 5040 Marne Street, Dallas, TX 75215. We will gather as one, united in our love for a remarkable man who touched so many lives. Each soul present will bear witness to the impact he made during his time with us—a legacy that, though he has departed from this earth, will live on through the countless lives he influenced.
