LaTone Alexander Dudley was born in Fort Worth, Texas July 26, 1962 to the proud parents of Fred Lewis & Shirley Jean Dudley. LaTone graduated from Eastern Hills High School and furthered his education on a football scholarship to Ranger Junior College. LaTone was a loving brother, uncle, confident, friend, counselor, brother-in-law, protector and oh yeah, The King of dominoes. LaTone worked for Farmland Union Equity Cummings as a truck before becoming disabled. LaTone accepted Christ at a tender age where he grew up at Greater Mount Tabor Christian Center. Later in life Big Lay attended Central Bill church where he formed a lasting bond that changed his life. LaTone had a special bond with nieces and nephews. He would call them Uncle La Baby/Babies. They loved their Uncle La he would always have a pocket full of candy on him. He would always take time out to make sure they had fun and were sugared up. LaTone's favorite NFL team was the Raiders. He loved doing sudoku puzzles to help pass time. On most Fridays you could find Big La playing spades, dominoes, and monopoly. He was very good with numbers and had a memory like an elephant. Big La met no strangers. He will forever be remembered by his Uncle La Babies as the gentle giant.
