LATOYA KAY DOSS, a radiant spirit whose warmth and love enveloped all who had the fortune to cross her path, passed away on November 9, 2025, in her beloved Dallas, Texas, where she had arrived into the world on May 23, 1978. LaToya was the embodiment of compassion, a diligent worker, and a fierce advocate for her family, often putting their needs before her own; she possessed an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel cherished, seen, and valued.
A deeply caring soul, LaToya lived her life with a profound concern for others, her vibrant and outgoing personality drawing people in like a moth to a flame. Fashionable to her core, she carried herself with a flair that was matched only by her generous spirit. Her laughter was the melody of countless gatherings, her warmth, the blanket that comforted those around her.
LaToya was a devoted mother and grandmother, a role in which she took immeasurable pride. Her three sons, Khyree Ward (KelTiana), Pharoah Ward, and Marvin Bell, alongside her two daughters, Sandra Ward and Patrice King, were the joys of her heart. Her legacy will continue through her beloved grandchildren, Kyren Ward and Alexander Pichardo, who were a source of immense pride and joy. Each moment spent with them nurtured her spirit, as she poured her love into cooking delightful meals, creating memories laden with laughter and cherished experiences.
Though her heart still aches for the daughter she lost, Tracey Doss, LaToya upheld a resilience that inspired those around her. She navigated the ups and downs of life with grace, always returning to the simple pleasures — afternoons spent with loved ones or the thrill of spinning slot machines, both in-person and online, that delighted her playful side.
In the tapestry of her life, LaToya wove threads of love, hard work, and familial devotion, leaving behind an indelible mark on all who knew her. Though her physical presence may have departed from this world, her vibrant spirit, her laughter, and the essence of her love will echo far beyond her years, embraced eternally by the hearts she touched. LaToya K. Doss will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
