LAWRENCE SWANSON

Mr. Lawrence Lorenzo Swanson was born July 11, 1939 to the parentage of Earnest and Mira Swanson in Tyler, Texas. Lawrence received his education in the Tyler Independent School District. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was Loved and Treasured by his extended children that he always embraced as his own, as well as Family and Friends. Lawrence (Lo) transitioned into the next life peacefully at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas on February 10, 2021 at the age of 82. Lawrence is preceded in death by wife, Wilma Lois Swanson. Son, Eddie Laury, Parents: Earnest and Mira Swanson, Sisters: Pauline Steed, Maxine Veasey, Earnestdell Veasey, Cleo Collins, Dollie Young, and Brothers: Gerald, Sylvester, Curtis Swanson. A special Friend David Brooks. Lawrence is survived by his children: Carolyn, Betty, Brenda, Julia, James Laury and Petricia Laury-Griggs. Sonya Porter, Robert Simpson and Faye Moore. Sister, Ivory Swanson-Austin, and brother Larry Swanson (Theresa). A host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
