LESLIE REID JR

Leslie Edgar Reid Jr. was born on March 4, 1941, to the Rev. Leslie Edgar Reid Sr. and Margaret Reid in Texas.

Leslie was one of four children born to Rev. Reid and Margaret Reid. He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Dallas public schools and later attended Wiley College.

He met Janet L. Briscoe, and they were united in marriage on December 17, 1963.

Leslie worked for Time Trucking Company for a number of years. After retirement, he worked part-time for FedEx.

Leslie entered eternal rest on July 29, 2026.

Leslie was preceded in death by his wife, Janet; two daughters, Robin and Rachel Reid; his parents, the Rev. Leslie Edgar Reid Sr. and Margaret Reid; two brothers, Kenneth Hearne and Donald Reid; and his nephew, Kenneth Hearne Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Gregory J. Reid and Leslie Edgar Reid III; grandchildren, Natassia Reid and Gabrielle Reid; great-grandchildren, Brandon II and Brielle; Alice Reid; and a host of nieces and nephews.
