LINDA GARRY

Linda Dianne Garry, age 68, passed away peacefully September 11, 2020. She was born February 16, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. She accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age. She married her love, Bennie Ray Garry in August 1976. Bennie preceded her in death in 2014.

Linda loved the Lord and she loved talking to people. She loved to give little trinkets as gifts to show her love. After Bennie’s death, she volunteered in her community and working with her church family at Cedar Hill Church of Christ. She lived life to the fullest and loved the Lord. Prior to retirement, she worked for the state of Texas for almost twenty years.

Linda is survived by her mother, Ruth Evelyn Derrick; her sisters and brothers Dwight Derrick, Audrey Derrick, Benita Derrick, Kenneth Derrick and Sharon Derrick; her children Kiesha Garry and Kiva Harper and her grandchildren Christian Aikens and James Hogan Jr. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. All of these, she loved and touched deeply.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made in her honor to Cedar Hill Church of Christ at 535 S. Clark Rd. Cedar Hill, Texas 75104
