Passed away at age 68
Linda Sue was born in Pittsburgh, TX to Maggie Dell Brown and Robert Lee Allen. She was raised by Maggie and Odell Cummings through age of twelve. She graduated from Como High School in 1970 and went on to receive an associate’s degree from Tarrant County Community College. She later joined the Naval Branch of the United States Armed Forces where she travelled around the world then landed in San Jose, CA; where she was stationed until she left the Navy to be closer to family in Texas. After her return, she found a position in the Veterans Affairs Offices of Waco, TX where she aided her fellow Veterans as an office manager by greeting all who arrived with a smile and a helping hand. Eventually, she found her way back to DFW Area where she spent her twenty-three remaining years near friends and enjoying the company of family as a loving mother and devout follower of Christ.
She is survived by her three sons, Erwin Wilburn and spouse Netre Webb, Terrence Wilburn, and Verdon Davis and spouse Telisha Davis, brother and sister in-law Welton & Jera Brown, her stepchildren, LaKisha Davis, Tiffany Lewis and Reginald Lewis Jr. and a host of grandchildren Bryson & Ryan Wilburn; Shaniece, Christal, & Christina Webb; Tra’vel, Triniti, Tanijah Butler, Carter & Sophia Davis.
