Lolita Ann Willis, a vibrant soul whose presence could light up any room, passed away on January 28, 2026, in Dallas, the city where she was born on May 18, 1971. Her journey was marked by a sweetness intertwined with a spirited edge—a blend that drew people to her. With long, beautiful hair that became a reflection of her personality, Lolita was not just seen; she was felt.
Known for her infectious smile and straightforwardness, she enveloped those around her in a sense of welcome and warmth. Not only did she possess a natural protectiveness over her family, but in her laughter, she shared a joy that made life’s simplest moments shimmer. Those who were fortunate enough to share their lives with her will remember her as a caring individual who knew how to savor life’s pleasures.
Lolita is remembered for her passions—she thrived in the excitement of gambling at casinos, cherished the melodies of old-school music, particularly the tunes of Frankie Beverly and Maze, and unraveled tranquility while fishing. She also found joy in the small acts of life, such as washing her car and engaging in spirited games of spades, all of which encapsulated her lively spirit.
Her legacy lives on through her loving family. Surviving are her daughter, Roashanne Willis, and son, Darren Gardner, alongside her beloved grandchildren—Joseph, Xzayvier, Kasyn, Ava, and Talia. Her siblings, Michael Willis, Sandra Willis, and Linda Willis, will carry the threads of her memory with grace and love.
