Obituary

Lucy Lee Askey was born on March 4, 1939 in Tennessee Colony, Texas. She was the first born to Abell Jackson and WG Edwards.

Lucy accepted Christ at an early age, she attended school in Palestine High School and graduated in 1957 from Palestine High School.

Lucy is preceded in death by her parents Abell Jackson-Nolley (Semion) and WG Edwards, two sons, Craig and Lee Andrew Askey, one brother Gary Nolley, one niece CoSandra “Kokie” Nolley.

Surviving are three sons; Michael Askey, Quintin (Glenda) Askey, and Corey Askey, three daughters; Diane Askey, Lisa Bell and Tiwuana Askey, three sisters; Debra Nolley, Margie Carroll (Robert “Rat” Carroll) and Julie Calton (Arthur), grandchildren; Ba’Shone Askey (Latasha), Kevin Askey (Mora),

Nakisha Askey, Lucrechia Bell, Sabrina Askey, Cedric Askey, Valerie Bolden, Travena Kindred, Travis Kindred Jr, Priscilla Bell, Brevin Campbell, Lauren Campbell, Ryan Johnson-Askey, and several great-grandchildren with a host of relatives and friends.
