Marceline Joyce Marbley Walker was born July 16, 1930, to her loving parents Willie Marbley and Vernia Marbley. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.
For 33 years, she was employed by Sanger and Harris, and she was also employed with the Dallas Independent School District for 10 years before she retired.
She became a member of The Church of the Living God, P.G.T. Temple number 1. She was a Deaconess, Mission sister for missionary and Mother of the Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elder Jeff Walker, her oldest brother Richard Williams, and sister Barbara Shumake. Mother Joyce’s life will have an everlasting impact on her church and her community as she leaves behind cherished memories that will resonate in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind her nephew Artis Shumake, her niece Rozalind Williams, both in California; a host of cousins; dear friends, and her loving Goddaughter Vicki Smith.
