Born on January 8, 1948, in Mineola, Texas, Margarett's journey through life was marked by her feisty personality, outgoing nature, and unfaltering love for her family and friends.

Margarett pursued her education at McFarland High School in Mineola, where her lively spirit began captivating those around her. She later channeled her warmth and enthusiasm into various careers, serving as an IRS customer service representative, a substitute teacher, and a pharmacy technician. In every position, she touched the lives of countless individuals, always ready to lend a listening ear or provide a kind word.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Margarett had several passions that showcased her zest for life. She adored shopping and traveling, with a particular penchant for discovering new places and experiences. Her love for fashion was evident, as she always presented herself with flair and style. Margarett also found immense joy in spending time at church, where her faith flourished and she made lasting connections with her community.

As a remarkable cook and an exceptional player of spades, Margarett gathered loved ones around her table, crafting meals that delighted the senses and hosting spirited game nights that turned into cherished memories. Her warm invitation to join in these celebrations revealed her generous heart and the love she had for gathering people together.

Margarett's life will be honored with a Prayer Service on October 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM, held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place at Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America on October 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM, allowing family and friends to celebrate the legacy of a truly extraordinary woman.
