Maria Manning, lovingly known as Pat, left this world on July 13, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in the heart of Dallas, TX on March 29, 1962, she brought joy and warmth to everyone around her.
Maria had a spirit that shone brightly, captivating all with her love for music. Her joyful soul found escape on the dance floor, where she was known for cutting a rug, embodying the very essence of happiness with every move. The rhythm of life was her constant companion, and her laughter echoed fondly in the hearts of her loved ones.
Her passions extended beyond music. Maria cherished the simple pleasures of life—camping under the stars, fishing with friends, and cooking hearty meals for her family. There was something incredibly special about the way she would gather her loved ones, always ensuring laughter and joy permeated the atmosphere during these cherished moments.
She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly, including her two brothers, Elliott “Pete” McGee and Roderick McGee; one aunt, Zella Young; and her children, Tiffany Manning and Michael Manning. In addition to her beloved children, her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom carry a piece of Maria’s spirit within them.
Maria reunites with her dearly departed mother, Hattie McGee; father, Willie McGee; sister, Anna McGee; and daughter, Amanda McGee. The loss of her two grandchildren, Dameon McLean Jr. and Elijah Manning, weighs heavily on the hearts of her family, who find comfort in the cherished memories they shared.
