Birth On the beautiful day of February 3, 1955 Mary was born in Dallas, Texas to Victoria McGill and Abraham McGill.
Education Mary graduated from Pinkston High School in West Dallas, Texas.
Christian Faith Mary was a member of Rite Mission Baptist Church for 32 years until Pastor Stafford’s demise. Mary then attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the teachings of Rev. Williams until she was called home on August 15, 2021.
Marriage On July 4, 1984 she married the love of her life Joseph Oliver Jr.
Hobbies Mary had many hobbies and a few of her favorites were sewing, arts, crafts, doing taxes, homeless outreach ministries, fishing, and traveling.
Demise On August 15, 2021 the land called Mary home to rest.
Legacy Those left to cherish her memories are 4 children Carla McGill, Latonia Butler (Korey), Timothy Oliver (Nowe), James Oliver (Kim), 4 bonus children, Lavonia Oliver (Ken), Joseph Oliver III, Laquicia (Anthony), Evonne (Terry), 2 brothers; Joe McGill (Cynthia), Major McGill (Maria), 3 sisters; Ernestine Farrow, Joyce Thomas, Jill Alexander, 18 grandchildren, 11 great grand children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
