MARY RAVENELL

Mary Ann Ravenell was born to the parentage of Annie Johnson and Joe D. Atkins  on November 16, 1945 in Bryan, Texas.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Steven Ravenell.

She attended the public schools of Dallas, TX and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964. After high school, she met and married Otis Ravenell. To this union two children were born.

She worked at Texas Instruments, Southwest Tablet Paper Company for many years. She finally retired at Luby’s Cafeteria.

She leaves behind: two sisters, Esther Atkins Hughes, Jonell Bluitt; one daughter, Shuanna Moton (Bryon); six grandchildren, Dominique, Jaylon, Kameron, David, Makayla, Elijah; best friend, Mercy Peace and friends at South Dallas Dialysis Center; one niece, Sherry Crump; two nephews, Herbert R. Hughes Jr. and Chris Bluitt; a host of relatives and friends.
