MARYE LYLES HUNNICUTT

Marye Lyles Hunnicutt, a beloved daughter of Oklahoma and a cherished member of the Dallas community, passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on November 22, 1944, Marye was known for her warm spirit, kind heart, and unwavering commitment to those she loved.

Throughout her life, Marye touched the lives of many with her compassion and generosity. She was a devoted friend and a source of strength for her family, exemplifying the values of love and loyalty in all her relationships. Her life was marked by the way she uplifted others, often lending an ear or an encouraging word to anyone in need.

Marye made her home in Dallas, Texas, where she became an active member of the community. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Marye Lyles Hunnicutt. A Prayer Service will be held on January 2, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (Allene), located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224, starting at 7:15 PM and concluding at 8:15 PM. The following day, a Funeral Service will take place at St Paul Baptist Church, at 1600 Pear Street, Dallas, TX 75215, beginning at 11:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM.

Marye leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered by her community, friends, and family. Her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
