Melroy Anderson Jr., a beloved father, friend, and neighbor, passed away on May 7, 2025, in Emory, Texas. Born on April 2, 1964, in Greenville, Texas, Melroy filled the lives of those around him with laughter and warmth. He graduated from Rains County High School, and from there embarked on a career as a concrete worker and yard work technician, where his hard work and dedication left a lasting impact in his community.

Melroy was known for his engaging personality—a delightful blend of goofiness and seriousness. He was outspoken and straight to the point, a true people person who brought joy and crazy antics into even the most mundane of daily routines. To Melroy, every day was a party day, and he embraced life with a spirit that was contagious. He built countless memories with those he loved, sharing moments like drinking beer under the tree with his son. More than just a father, he was a steadfast supporter, always having his children’s backs, whether they were right or wrong.
