Born on August 8, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, Michael lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and a strong commitment to his family and his community.

Michael was a proud graduate of Pinkston High School, where he laid the foundation for a lifelong journey of service and achievement. He went on to build a meaningful career with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), contributing his skills and dedication to the development and improvement of public transportation in the Dallas region. His professional journey was characterized by integrity and a steadfast commitment to excellence.

Beyond his career, Michael was a devoted family man. He was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Gwendolyn McFarlin. He is survived by his children, as well as numerous other relatives and friends who cherished his presence in their lives. His warmth, wisdom, and kindness left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
