MILDRED DAVIS

Mildred Ann Davis was born on July 12, 1940 to the parentage of Malachi and Clara Malone. She Attended Norfolk, Virginia public high school system. She later moved to Dallas, Texas where she met and married Walter Davis Jr. She also worked at Parkland and Doctor’s Hospitals in environmental services before retiring.

Preceded her in death are her parents Malachi and Clara Malone; one brother; Malachi Malone Jr.  Three Sisters; Betty Taylor, Yvonne Jones, and Carolyn Wynn and one beautiful daughter; Virginia Walker and her lovely husband Walter Davis Jr.

She leaves behind her three sons: Robert Malone of Garland, TX,  Wendell Ward and Gaylon Davis of Dallas, TX; four daughters: Verla Ward of Colbert, OK, Cheryl Ward, LaNita (Malvin) Porchia and LaNeka (Dereck) Davis, all of Dallas, TX; one sister: Barbara Malone of Richmond, VA; two brothers: Maryland Malone, Marion Malone; one nephew: Maurice Wynn all of Norfolk, VA; Her beloved niece; Serina (Marvin) Spruill of Norfolk, VA; forty-eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
