MINNIE SMITH

Minnie Louise Johnson Smith, a faithful wife, wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Minnie was born April 6, 1937, in Palestine, Anderson County, Texas, to the parentage of Rev. Tallie and Mrs. Mattie Johnson.

Minnie passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, in her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Smith; her parents and several siblings. She leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her life a son, Darryl Smith; two granddaughters, Acacia Cleveland and Summer Smith; and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Corneilus’ living children, James (Judy) Smith, Charles Smith, Michael (Debra) Morris; Marilyn (Gary) Randle; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
