MOSOPEFOLUWA OMOLAYO

Mosopefoluwa Ebunoluwa Omolayo was born at sunrise on Wednesday August 7th, 2002 at Royan Hospital in Ogudu, Lagos, Nigeria.

She got her early education in Ibadan, Nigeria and Kingston Jamaica. She had her elementary and part of her Junior High School in Abuja and Ibadan, Nigeria. She later moved to the United States in 2017 to conclude her High School education in Plano Texas and was in her senior year when she went home to be with The Lord.

Mosopefoluwa lit up everyone that came in contact with her. There was never a dull moment with her, always looking out for how to lighten up every situation. She was one to turn to when you needed hope, encouragement or want to feel appreciated. She was a delight to the family and is greatly missed already.

An avid writer of fan fiction and a budding artist as well, the time she spent with us, though short by our own estimation, brought an impact of a lifetime to family and friends. We have cause indeed to celebrate her life and give thanks to God for such a wonderful gift He gave us in her.

We miss her greatly but take comfort in the hope that she is now in God’s presence as the scriptures teach. She gave her life to Christ in her early teens and never abated in her faith in Him.

While she will not be able to come to us on this side of eternity, we know we will go to her in the fullness of time and then, there will be no more occasion for the sorrow we feel right now by her sudden departure, ever again.

Adieu Mosopefoluwa, we love you so dearly. All your aunties, uncles, cousins, friends miss you so much, and dad as well. Rest on in God’s eternal bliss
