NARVEL MCCLURKIN

Mrs. Narvel Brazile McClurkin of Dallas passed to eternity peacefully on March 8, 2021 in Webster, Texas. She was born May 16, 1923 and was the youngest child of Prince Brazile and Tiny Ann Waters Brazile in Hallsville, Texas. Aunt Narvel accepted Christ early in life. She attended school in Marshall, Texas and graduated from H.B. Pemberton High School in 1942. Aunt Narvel pursued and worked in the field of nursing. Aunt Narvel married Mr. Hezekiah McClurkin September 28, 1962. She was Aunt Baby to all beloved nieces and nephews. She was an Angel from God. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Hezekiah McClurkin, brothers Raymond Dunn, Gloster Brazile, John Arthur Brazile, sisters Carrine Glover, Pauline Jones, special sister-in-law Annetta Brazile, special niece, Tiny Jewel Brazile Sillemon and special nephew, Calvin James Brazile. She leaves to mourn her passing, special nephews and nieces, Johnny Ray (Carol) Brazile, Glenn Heights, Texas; Carl Earl Brazile, Dallas, Texas; Nettie Ree (Oren) Eddie, Vicenza, Italy; Aubrey Fenton (Dara) Brazile, Longview, Texas; Dr. Johnetta (Marcus) Hicks, Pearland, Texas; Paul Lee Brazile, Hallsville, Texas, Arthur Faye (Emile Jr.) Haley, Baytown, Texas; Dr. Ruth Delories Brazile, Spring, Texas; and Mary Sloan Brazile, Terrell, Texas. She is survived by a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins. God has gained another flower in his garden and Aunt Narvel is surrounded by family and friends.
