With heavy hearts and fond remembrance, we honor the life of NIGEL MOSES CALHOUN, who was born on March 30, 1998, and departed this world on June 27, 2026. In his 28 years among us, Nigel touched the lives of those who knew him with his warmth, kindness, and unmistakable spirit.
Although his journey here was tragically brief, the impact Nigel had on friends, family, and his community endures in cherished memories. His name brings to mind the laughter he shared, the support he offered, and the unwavering gentleness he showed to those around him. Nigel’s presence was a comfort—a steady hand and an understanding heart in times of joy and hardship alike.
We mourn deeply for a life so filled with promise and light, now gone too soon, yet we also celebrate all that he gave to those around him. The ripples of his compassion and empathy extend far beyond what words can capture, living on in the lives he touched and the love he inspired.
Family, friends, and all who wish to pay their respects are invited to remember Nigel at several upcoming services. A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. That evening, a Wake will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 219 North Goode Road, Wilmer, TX 75172.
