Nina Monique Scott, affectionately known as “Mo,” passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on October 6, 1981, Nina lived a life that was vibrant, filled with joy, and enriched by her love for others.
Nina was a truly special individual, celebrated for her fun-loving spirit, comical nature, and outgoing personality. Her laughter was contagious, and her capacity to bring happiness to those around her was remarkable. As a nurturing figure, she imparted her wisdom to family and friends, creating a warm and welcoming environment wherever she went.
Nina was passionate about many things; she had a keen eye for antiques, enjoyed engaging in spirited games of board games, and found joy in dancing and reading. Her love for life extended beyond her personal pursuits as she dedicated herself to her community. Nina was a proud member of the New Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she fostered connections and contributed to the collective spirit of fellowship.
A graduate of Kimball High School, Nina’s professional journey saw her work for many years at UPS, where she was respected and valued by her colleagues. Her resilience and dedication were evident in every aspect of her life.
Nina leaves behind a cherished legacy as a devoted mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Each role she occupied was embraced with love and commitment, making a lasting impact on the lives she touched.
A viewing will be held in her honor on January 2, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A funeral service celebrating her life will take place the following day, January 3, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the same location.
