His commitment to education was exemplified by his service on the Wilmer Hutchinson School District, where he dedicated himself to improving and supporting the academic environment. Additionally, Norris’s patriotic spirit was evident in his service to his country as a member of the United States Navy, a testament to his courage and sense of duty.

The funeral service will follow on April 8, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at All Nations Fellowship Church, 5146 South Country Club Road, Garland, TX 75043. His final resting place will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211, with burial commencing at 2:00 PM on the same day.
