Ola Ruth Daniels, a beloved member of the Dallas, passed away on December 19, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. Born on October 11, 1941, in Marlin, Texas, Ola was the daughter of Anna and Jessie Armstead. She grew up in a loving home alongside her siblings, Bessie Mae Hall, Vera Lee Coleman, Earline Hughes, Jessie B. Armstead, and Dimple Jean Pruitt.

Ola's love for education shone brightly throughout her life. She dedicated 25 years of her career to teaching in the Dallas Independent School District. Her commitment to shaping young minds created a lasting impact on countless students who passed through her classroom doors. Ola's passion for education began when she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She later pursued her Bachelor's degree in Education—an accomplishment that solidified her dedication to empowering future generations.

Known for her kindheartedness and giving nature, Ola touched the lives of those around her with love and compassion. Her warm personality and thoughtful gestures made everyone feel valued and appreciated. Ola believed in the power of prayer and found solace in connecting with a higher power. She also enjoyed spending time solving crossword puzzles as they challenged her mind and brought joy to her days. Sports held a special place in Ola's heart; she found delight in cheering for her favorite teams.

Ola's proudest accomplishment was becoming a mother to two sons, Kenney Daniels and Gregory Daniels. As a devoted parent, she nurtured their dreams and supported them wholeheartedly throughout their lives.

During this time of mourning, Ola Ruth Daniels is survived by niece Shirley Seamster, great-granddaughter Desiray Thomas, great-niece Kametha Thomas, great-niece Latrina Riley, and nephew Dexter Pruitt. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives she enriched with her presence.

Ola was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Jessie Armstead, as well as her husband Guffrey Daniels, son's Kenney Daniels, Gregory Daniels, sister's Bessie Mae Hall, Vera Lee Coleman, Earline Hughes and Dimple Jean Pruitt, bother, Jessie B. Armstead, grand daughter Kimberly Washington. Their memories will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

Ola Ruth Daniels' vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to education will continue to inspire and shape lives for generations to come.

May Ola rest in eternal peace as her memory lives on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of sharing in her remarkable life.
