OSCAR LEROY MALONE

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of OSCAR LEROY MALONE, affectionately known as "BUBBA" to those who loved him most. Born on March 31, 1983, in Dallas, Texas, Oscar brought warmth, laughter, and unforgettable energy into this world. He departed from us far too soon on August 10, 2026, in Terrell, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and spirited memories.

From his earliest days, Oscar’s big personality shone bright. He was known for being loving and outgoing, a man whose presence could light up any room and whose embrace could lift the heaviest hearts. Whether he was sharing a joke, encouraging those around him, or simply being present in the lives of those he cherished, Oscar made life richer for all who knew him.  He enjoyed cooking for his family.

Oscar was educated at Grapevine High School, a place where the foundation of many friendships and dreams was built. Those who knew him from his school years can remember his vibrant enthusiasm—his laughter echoing through hallways and his ability to draw people in with his charm and humor.

A true lover of music, Oscar found joy and freedom in rap—both as a listener and a vocalist. He brought the same passion and spirit to his music as he did to his everyday life. Being the life of the party was second nature to Oscar; whether gathering with friends or family, he had an incredible way of making gatherings lively, memorable, and filled with happiness. Music was not only a pastime for him, but also a way to connect with others, to celebrate life, and to express himself.

Oscar’s greatest pride, however, was his family. He leaves behind his beloved mother Shiril Malone, who was his lifelong supporter and confidant. His brother, Keeman Malone (Regina), shared a special bond with Oscar—one built on loyalty, laughter, and unwavering brotherhood. Oscar’s niece, Kenyatta Payne, and his nephew, Traveyon Payne, adored their uncle “Bubba,” who inspired them with each story and every moment spent together. Shantell Jackson, common law wife, and his stepchildren and grandchildren will treasure Oscar’s memory.

Oscar is reunited in rest with his dear sister, Antondette Malone, whose memory remained close to his heart throughout his days.

His loving, outgoing spirit and the joy he brought to gatherings live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Oscar’s presence was a gift—a flame of compassion, resilience, and fun-loving devotion. To know him was to embrace life more fully and to cherish every precious moment.

Oscar Leroy "Bubba" Malone will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His legacy endures in the laughter he created, the music that moved him, and the love he sowed in the lives of family and friends.
