OTIS KERNEY, SR.

Otis Kerney Sr. was born on August 11, 1930, to Lorenzo Kerney and Inez McGee. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Freewill Baptist Church in Lancaster, Texas. He retired from Texas Industries. He entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 13, 2018.

Loved ones remaining to cherish his memories: daughter, Sumsalone (Terry) Henderson of Songer; son, Otis Kerney, Jr. (Joyce) of Red Oak; brother, Jay Charles (Baker); sister, Lorine Johnson; grandchildren, Fredrick Flanagan, Shamieka Johnson, Shaquinta Johnson, Tiara Henderson and Joshua Howard; and a host of great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo Kerney; mother, Inez McGee; brothers, Odell Kerney and Sylvester; and sister, Maggie Tennell.
