Pablo Franco Paredes Sr., born on January 30, 1954, left this world on September 22, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he touched the lives of all who had the pleasure to know him.
Pablo was a man of great character, who approached life with a warm smile and an undeniable sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Rebecca Valdez Paredes, who stood by his side through thick and thin, sharing countless adventures and heartfelt moments. Together, they cultivated a home filled with warmth and laughter, where their children thrived under the comforting embrace of their love.
As a father, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his children: Paul Paredes Jr., Marquesa Ann Esparza, and Steve A. Paredes. He took immense pride in their achievements, constantly encouraging them to pursue their passions and dreams. His spirit will live on through them, as they carry forward the values he instilled in them.
Pablo was not just a father but a beloved grandfather, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of Desiraye Dominique Paredes, Steve Adrian Paredes Jr., and Julyssa Elizabeth Paredes. His eyes would light up with joy whenever surrounded by their laughter, and he cherished the simple moments spent together, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
He held his in-laws, Isidro R. Esparza III and Lydia E. Paredes, close to his heart, embracing them as family with warmth and respect. Their bonds created a tapestry of joy and love, woven together through countless family gatherings.
Pablo’s love extended beyond his immediate family. He maintained close ties with his siblings, including Rosa Rojas, Hilda Aleman, Valentine Paredes, Carlos Paredes, Longino Paredes, and Benito Paredes. The bond they shared was one built on years of laughter, support, and unwavering loyalty, and they will forever hold onto those beautiful memories.
He was also a mentor and cherished figure for his adopted nephews, Christopher I. Valdez and Enrique M. Gonzales, offering them guidance and support as they navigated through life. Pablo embraced his role as a family member with great passion, and his legacy will continue to shine through them.
In addition to the rich tapestry of family relationships, Pablo is remembered by several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Each one carries a piece of his spirit, reflecting the love and joy he brought into their lives.
Pablo was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Paredes and Paula Franco Paredes, and his sisters, Felicitas Cervantes and Guadalupe Paredes Facundo. Though they are no longer with us, their love and teachings shaped the remarkable man Pablo became, and he carries their memories with him even in passing.
