PATRICIA BROWN

October 27, 1947 — December 16, 2023

Ms. Patricia Brown, lovingly known as "Ms. Pat," passed away on December 16, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on October 27, 1947, in Nacogdoches, Texas. Ms. Pat was a remarkable homemaker and seamstress who devoted her life to her family and created countless precious memories with them.

Growing up in Nacogdoches, Ms. Pat attended E.J. Campbell High School where she developed a strong foundation for her future. After her education, she embarked on a journey of love and dedication as a homemaker and seamstress.

Ms. Pat's vibrant personality touched the lives of all those around her. She was fun-loving and caring, always bringing joy into any room she entered. Mrs. Pat had a firm and outspoken nature that commanded respect while also being incredibly giving to those in need.

One of Ms. Pat's greatest passions was cooking, and she excelled as a chef in her own right. She had the ability to turn ordinary ingredients into delicious culinary creations that brought smiles to the faces of everyone lucky enough to taste them. Cooking wasn't just a skill for Ms. Pat; it was an art form through which she expressed her love for her family and friends.

In addition to her culinary talents, Ms. Pat had an eye for interior design and took great pride in remodeling her family home. Her creativity shone through in every detail, transforming the house into a warm and welcoming haven.

Ms. Pat treasured special occasions spent with her loved ones, particularly during the Fourth of July and holiday seasons. She enjoyed hosting parties, cooking out, and organizing fish frys that brought together family and friends in celebration of these joyous times.

The memory of Ms. Pat's joyful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her surviving family members: Sharon Brown Bursey (daughter), Joyce Wilkins (daughter), Willie Brown (son), Tewainna, Tameka, Crystal (granddaughters), Undrea, Demetrus, Bobby, Antonio Bernard, Dykwan, Willie Jr., Deuntae, Terran (grandsons), a host of great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; first cousins, Carol, Rendrick, Toni, and Vincent. Her loving presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by each of them.

Ms. Pat was preceded in death by her beloved spouse Charles Brown and her parents Joel Millard and Agnes Millard. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Fred Henry and Aaron Millard.
