PATRICK ANDRELL JEFFRIE

Jun 3, 1960 — Sep 24, 2026

Patrick Andrell Jeffrie, affectionately known as “P.J. Skool,” passed away on September 24, 2026, in DeSoto, Texas. He was born on June 3, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, and his life reflected the character of a man who carried himself with purpose, strength, and unmistakable style.

Patrick was educated at Lincoln High School and went on to work as a forklift driver. He was known as a hard worker, a great provider, and a devoted father. Skilled with his hands and a natural thinker, he approached life with care and intention. He was very cautious and responsible, serious when the moment called for it, yet never far from laughter. Patrick could be funny but stern, and those who knew him understood both the discipline he carried and the compassion he held. He was willing to give his last to help someone else, and that generosity left a lasting impression on the people around him.

He also brought a distinct presence wherever he went. Patrick dressed to impress and loved to wear brims, carrying himself with confidence and individuality. His laughter, his strong sense of responsibility, and his ability to provide for those he loved will remain among the qualities most fondly remembered.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Kay Steele Jeffrie; his father, James Phillip Jeffrie Sr.; his mother, Lois Jean Jeffrie; and his brother, James Phillip Jeffrie Jr.

Patrick’s memory will be cherished by his son, Andre Jeffrie; his sisters Rhonda Jeffrie, Trina Jeffrie, Philisia Jeffrie,  Andrea Jeffrie and Brandy Wickware; his brothers Derek Jeffrie, Craig Jeffrie and Aron Jeffrie; Brandy Wickware; his aunt, Lela; and his cousin, Eric Hicks. He will also be remembered with love by the close family circle he shared with Andre Jeffrie and siblings Rhonda Jeffrie, Trina Jeffrie, Derek Jeffrie, Philisia Jeffrie, Andrea Jeffrie, Aron Jeffrie, and Brandy Wickware, whose bond stands as part of his lasting legacy.

Patrick Andrell Jeffrie leaves behind the memory of a man who worked hard, loved deeply, laughed fully, and gave generously. His life will be remembered with love, gratitude, and respect by all who knew him.
