Paul Christopher Dean, born June 12, 1947, in Williamston, South Carolina, passed away on August 20,2026 at the age of 79. Paul lived a life defined by service, dedication, and quiet strength, touching the lives of many through his work, his faith, and his unwavering love for family.

Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying the discipline and commitment of military life into every chapter that followed. His professional journey was long and distinguished, including years with the U.S. Post Office, AT&T Telephone, MCI Telecommunications, and Telesphere Communications. Later, Paul continued his hardworking legacy as an Owner Operator and Truck Driver, a role that reflected both his independence and his steadfast work ethic.

Paul was a devoted husband to Glenda Ruth Dean, who preceded him in death. Together, they built a life rooted in love, family, and faith. He is survived by his sons, Paul Christopher Dean Jr. and Timothy Niguel Dean, who carry forward his strength, resilience, and deep sense of responsibility.

Paul was the beloved son of Katie Gilliard Dean and William C. Dean, both of whom preceded him in death. He will join his brother Donald L. Dean in his heavenly home. He leaves behind his siblings: Hermonia Dean Edwards, William C. Dean Jr., Ronald L. Dean, as well as a host of nieces and nephews who will remember him for his warmth, humor, and steady presence. A man of faith, Paul was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church in Washington, DC, where he worshiped, served, and found community. His life reflected the values he cherished: service, humility, and a quiet but enduring devotion to Christ.

Paul’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him—family, friends, coworkers, and fellow church members. His journey was one of purpose, perseverance, and love, and he will be remembered with deep affection and gratitude.

A memorial service for Paul Christopher Dean Sr. will be held on September 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home - Ft. Worth, 5701 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, Texas 76119.
