PAULA DENISE HARRIS

PAULA DENISE HARRIS, a beloved nurse and a cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully in Dallas, Texas, on December 8, 2025. Born on October 3, 1954, in Dallas, she dedicated her life to caring for others, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

She believed in putting God first.  Throughout her career, Paula exemplified a commitment to excellence in nursing. Known for her subtle yet strong personality, she balanced stern professionalism with a loving and encouraging spirit that provided comfort and support to her patients and colleagues alike. Her no-nonsense approach was complemented by a distinctive dry humor, which endeared her to many. A big believer in education, she inspired countless individuals through her dedication to lifelong learning and growth.

Paula had varied interests that brought joy and enrichment to her life. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader. In her leisure time, she found pleasure in watching true crime shows and judge shows, as well as taking long walks and going to the movies. Among her favorite films were classic musicals, including "Dreamgirls" and "The Temptations." Additionally, she had a passion for travel, exploring new places and cultures with wonder and enthusiasm.

While her professional achievements were remarkable, Paula's proudest accomplishment remained her family. She held deep love and respect for her loved ones, valuing the bonds and memories they shared together. Though she has departed from this world, her legacy of kindness, strength, and encouragement lives on in the hearts of those she touched.

A memorial service in her honor will be held on December 20, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, starting at 3:00 PM, with the service concluding at 4:00 PM. Family, friends, and all who were impacted by Paula's life are invited to celebrate her memory and the profound influence she had on those around her.
