PRESTON SILAS BROWN, born on September 23, 1940, departed this life on June 30, 2026. Throughout his 85 years, Preston touched many with his steadfast strength, warmth, and dignity.

His long and fruitful life was a testament to his resilience and the care he showed towards others. The community is invited to gather and pay respects at a viewing for Preston to be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at DALLAS PROJECT CHURCH, 7710 South Westmoreland Road, Dallas, TX 75237. Preston will be laid to rest at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211, at 1:15 p.m., honoring his life and lasting impact.
