With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we remember and celebrate the life of Qualon Jamour Perry, a vibrant spirit whose presence illuminated every room he entered. Born on August 29, 1985, in Dallas, Texas, and called home on March 14, 2026, also in Dallas, Qualon was a man who lived with fierce passion, unwavering confidence, and an endearing warmth that touched all who knew him.
Qualon’s life was a rich tapestry woven from the threads of his many roles—most notably as a dedicated driver for a delivery service, a proud father, and a beloved member of his community. He was a trendsetter, a people person, and possessed a candid, outspoken nature that paired perfectly with his sharp wit and infectious humor. His magnetic personality was both captivating and genuine, blending the strength of an antagonist with the tenderness of a warm soul devoted to his family.
The pride of Qualon’s life was unmistakably his eight cherished children: Jamour Perry, Aniyah Perry, Jayden Moore, Jamaud Perry, Jaquan Armstrong, Kaidence Fields, Keelan Perry, and Honesty Perry. Each child bore the light of his love and the imprint of his dedication as a father who treasured every moment spent with them. He was family-oriented to his core, a steadfast pillar for his mother, Carla Taylor, and his sisters—Sharon Perry, Vicki Miller, Kaleisha Mincey—and brothers Tommy Perry and Corey Taylor. The network of his affectionate embrace extended further to include many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who all felt the depth of his loyal spirit.
While we honor Qualon’s living family, we solemnly remember those who have passed into eternal rest: his father Joe Perry; grandparents Michael and Barbara Duren, and Sid Perry and Florence Robinson; sisters La’Tashia Thomas and Annie Perry; and brothers Rickye Perry, Joe Bob, and Billy Benton. Their memories are entwined with the legacy Qualon leaves behind.
Qualon’s passions were wide-ranging and colorful—listening to music that stirred his soul, enjoying vibrant nights out at the clubs, embracing the fresh freedom of the outdoors, crafting his voice through rapping, creating content that expressed his unique perspective, indulging in shopping sprees, spending precious time with children, and immersing himself in the immersive world of gaming. Each interest reflected the dynamic and multifaceted man he was, continuously seeking connection and expression.
His life will be honored with a viewing on April 3, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. The funeral service will follow on April 4, 2026, from 3:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas-Allene, at the same address, where family, friends, and all whose lives he touched will gather to celebrate a life lived fully and fiercely.
Qualon Jamour Perry leaves us as a beacon of laughter, strength, and love—a man who stood confident in his truth, who championed his family above all else, and who carried a legacy of warmth and wit that will echo in the hearts of many forever. In remembering him, we honor a life vividly lived, a spirit unapologetically bold, and a soul deeply loved.
