RAYMOND DAVID BELL

Oct 16, 1956 — Oct 25, 2026

GARLAND, TX

Raymond David Bell, a quiet and steadfast man whose life was marked by duty, devotion, and enduring love for his family, passed away on October 25, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on October 16, 1956, in Los Angeles, California.

After the passing of his mother, Raymond was adopted by his maternal grandmother, who brought him to Dallas, where he made his life and home. He graduated from high school in DISD and, after completing school, proudly served in the United States Navy. That spirit of service remained with him throughout his life. Following his return home from the Navy, he met and married Ms. Sandra Dorsey. Their marriage was blessed with two sons, and they remained devoted to one another until her passing in 2024.

Raymond was a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service for 40 years, continuing in that work until his passing. He was known as a hard-working and reserved man, someone who carried himself with quiet strength and who gave faithfully of himself to both his work and his family. He was, above all, a dedicated family man. In the simple comforts of life, he found enjoyment in watching Western shows on television, a pastime that suited his steady and unassuming nature.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra Bell; his mother, Fannie Paschal; his father, Lois Bell; and his son, Raymond Bell Jr.

Raymond’s memory lives on in those who survive him, including his son, Jamarow Bell, and his sister-in-law, Lisa Taylor. May they find comfort in the love he gave, the example he set, and the many years of faithful service and quiet devotion that defined his life.

Raymond David Bell will be remembered with love, gratitude, and respect by all who knew him.
