Renard Fontaine Mitts entered this world on October 26, 1970 in Lansing, MI on purpose to Late Floyd and Mae Ruth Mitts. He was educated in Lansing, MI school district and attended J.W. Sexton High School. Renard, known as Ree, relocated to Dallas, TX with his family.
Renard was born into a tight knit, multi-generation family, forged a special relationship with his grandmothers, mother and siblings. Renard was trained up as a child in a godly way. Church was an absolute must every Sunday. Renard attended Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Renard was employed by various companies throughout the Dallas metroplex, providing security detail. His honesty and attention to detail made him an exemplary employee.
Family was always important to Renard and he never missed an opportunity for family gatherings. Renard enjoyed having a good time. The party started once Ree arrived. Renard without fear of contradiction that he was the life of the family.
Renard was quiet and laid back. His demeanor made him a great father who barely raised his voice. He was very patient and showed love for their well-being. He was always smiling and in great spirits.
Renard lived in Christ through every day situations, whether in celebration or in sorrow. He embodied grace, gratitude and goodness. Renard will be truly missed by those he loved and those that loved him. He will always be in the heart of his family and friends, who will carry on his legacy.
Renard focused on his illness with unwavering faith. He ran a good race gracefully.
On Sunday, November, 3, 2024, Renard closed his eyes gracefully without fear. Renard peacefully left this world. Waiting to welcome Renard is his brother, Alfred B. Hall Jr.; parents, Floyd & Mae Ruth Mitts; and his grandparents.
Left to cherish his memories are his wonderful children, India S. Mitts, Zackery Miller, Lauryn Miller, Neuntae Cassey, Neundre Cassey; one grandchild, Niah Irving, all of Dallas, TX; four sisters, Audrey L. Hall, Robin M. Williams, Sherdon L. Mitts (Marcus) and Opal Crawford (Robert) of Chicago, IL; special friend, Darcell Mcleod; nephews, Lamarcus Campbell (Lawanda), Deandre McFadden, Alvantae Autry; nieces, Shamondra Luckett (Erick), Shontoia Campbell, Brashonda Autrey, Tonya Hill, Michelle Crawford, Regina Toney (Jay) and Lashea Crawford; a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; beloved bestie cousin/sis, Rhonda Lusk, Cousin Charlie Lusk; childhood best friends, Chris Brazee, Raymond (Pimp) White and Richard Hogan.
