RICHARD D. THOMAS Sr.

Richard D. Thomas Sr. was born on December 8, 1941, in Dallas, Texas, and he passed away on December 11, 2025, in the city of his birth. He was 84 years old at the time of his death. Richard dedicated his life to his career as a machinist in the auto industry, where he honed his skills and shared his passion for working on cars.

Richard was known for his serious demeanor and his strong independence. Those who knew him well recognized the depth of his character and his unwavering support for his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. His love and pride for his family were among his proudest accomplishments, shaping him into a steadfast figure for them throughout his life.

Richard’s viewing will take place on December 26, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on December 27, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM and concluding at 2:00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas.

His legacy will be carried on by those he leaves behind, and he will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard D. Thomas Sr. will be profoundly missed.
