With deep respect and heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Ricky Lawrence Cole, who departed this life on March 23, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Born on March 16, 1959, Ricky lived a full life marked by the love of family and cherished friendships.

Ricky was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He is survived by his children, siblings, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of other relatives and friends who treasured his presence and will carry his memory forward with great affection.

A Prayer Service to honor Ricky’s life will be held on April 3, 2026, from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (JOHN), located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. This service will provide an opportunity for all who knew him to gather in reflection and prayer.

Following this, a Funeral Service will take place on April 4, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM also at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (JOHN). Friends, family, and all whose lives were touched by Ricky are invited to attend and pay their final respects.
