Robert Earl Moore, a devoted family man and a respected figure in his community, passed away on September 5, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 72. Born on November 24, 1952, in Dallas, Robert dedicated over 30 years of his career to driving for Sears Roebuck Co., where he was known his strong work ethic and commitment to service.
Throughout his life, Robert embodied strength, devotion, and quiet wisdom. He was not only a great provider and protector but also a man who consistently ensured that those he loved were well cared for. His personality was marked by a sense of calm and an unwavering support for his family and friends, which endeared him to many.
Robert took immense pride in his role as a father, cherishing his children: Robert Renard, Prentice Noel, who is married to Dutchess, and Brandon Keith. He found joy in his grandchildren, Trevlin, Elijah, Olivia, and Immanuel Prince-Moore, who brought him happiness and fulfillment. Robert was a pillar of strength for his entire extended family, providing guidance and love throughout their lives.
In addition to his family life, Robert had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, finding solace and joy in fishing—a sacred ritual that he shared with family and friends. These moments were cherished, creating lasting memories that will be carried forward by those who loved him.
He is also survived by his siblings Clara, Jean, Albert, Gary, Pat, and Terry, who will hold his memory close to their hearts.
Visitation will take place on September 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, followed by a Wake Service at 7:15 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on September 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at the same location.
