ROBERT L. TURNER, a devoted husband, father, and highly respected master mechanic, passed away on June 22, 2025, in North Richland Hills, Texas. Born on October 18, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri. He grew up in the West Dallas area and attended the West Dallas Boys Club. He is an alumni of L. G. Pinkston High School. Robert was known for his generosity and skillful expertise in automotive repair. For over 20 years, he ran his own shop, where he touched the lives of countless customers with his dedication and craft.
Robert was a family man at heart, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. He embraced the simple joys of life, sharing his passions for sports and automobiles. As an avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching football, loyally supporting his favorite teams, the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, as well as having a deep appreciation for basketball. These interests showcased his vibrant personality and love for community, as Robert often gathered friends and family to celebrate game days together.
His masterful skills not only earned him respect within the automotive community but also made him the go-to person for friends and family alike when they needed help and advice. Robert's legacy will undoubtedly live on through the stories shared by those who knew and loved him.
The visitation for Robert L. Turner will take place on July 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the visitation, a prayer service will be held at the same location from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The funeral service will continue on July 4, 2025, beginning at 8:00 AM at Straightway Pentecostal Church, located on Polk Street, Dallas, TX 75208.
His memory will be cherished, and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know this remarkable man.
