ROSETTA DENISE LEWIS

ROSETTA DENISE LEWIS, born in Dallas, Texas on June 27, 1962, passed away peacefully in her hometown on May 29, 2025. A proud alumna of H. Grady Spruce High School, Rosetta was known to all as a fun-loving spirit who cherished family gatherings above all else.

Rosetta’s life was marked by a profound love for her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. Her vibrant personality shone through in her many hobbies; she loved to dance, engage in spirited games of dominoes, and was especially fond of barbecuing and traveling. Each of these activities reflected her zest for life and her deep commitment to creating lasting memories with those she adored. She had a very spiritual life and enjoyed going to church.

The warmth of Rosetta's presence will be felt by numerous friends and relatives who were touched by her kindness and enthusiasm for life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a spirit that will forever inspire those who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on June 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Golden Gate Funeral Home located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas, Texas. A funeral service will follow on June 11, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM and concluding at 4:00 PM at the same location.

Rosetta Denise Lewis will be remembered as a beacon of joy in her community and among her family, whose loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she has left behind.
