A cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, Roy was renowned for his infectious humor and vibrant personality. A passionate and die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, Roy exemplified loyalty and enthusiasm—not only in football but in everything he pursued. His love for music spanned a variety of genres, reflecting his appreciation for life's many rhythms.

Roy served his community with dedication, holding the esteemed position of deacon at his past church, where he shared his faith and support with those around him. His commitment to family, friends, and his faith was evident in all that he did.

Following this, a funeral service will take place on January 21, 2026, 11:00 AM at Rising Star Baptist Church, also in Dallas.
