ROY CHARLES PERRY JR

Roy Charles Perry Jr., born on November 21, 1948, he passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025 in Dallas, Tx.. He spent his life in the city he cherished, and it was there that he cultivated a loving and family, serving as a presence in their lives.

Roy was a man who truly embodied the spirit of family, he appreciated these pleasures in life, a trait that endeared him to many of his friends and family. An avid music lover, Roy found solace and joy in melodies that connected him to cherished memories. His passion for music was matched only by his love for attending church, where he found spiritual fulfillment and a sense of community. A great storyteller, Roy had a unique ability to share tales that captured the imagination and entertained those around him, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of listening.

Above all, Roy's greatest pride was his family. He was particularly fond of his great-grandchildren, nurturing bonds that will forever be cherished. His commitment to his loved ones was unwavering, demonstrating the values of love and togetherness throughout his life.

Roy's memory will be honored through a series of services held in his name. The visitation will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the visitation, a wake service will commence at 7:15 PM, concluding at 8:15 PM. Roy's funeral service is scheduled for Sat, June 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the same location. Finally, he will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM. 

The legacy Roy leaves behind is one of love, devotion, and community. As we gather to remember him, we celebrate a life well-lived and the many hearts he touched.
