RYHEEM RAYJUN DAVIS

Aug 27, 1997 — May 5, 2026

RYHEEM RAYJUN DAVIS, affectionately known to those who loved him as "Kush," passed away on May 5, 2026, in Dallas, TX. Born on August 27, 1997, in Nacogdoches, TX, Ryheem was a gentle soul whose kindness and protective nature left an indelible mark on his family and friends.

A graduate of Spruce High School, Ryheem dedicated over a decade of his life as a forklift driver in warehouses, where his work ethic and reliability were deeply respected. Beyond his career, Ryheem was a homebody at heart. He cherished the simple joys—relaxing in the comfort of his home and immersing himself in the worlds of Call of Duty and 2K, games that brought him happiness and a sense of connection.

Ryheem was known for his sweet demeanor, a caring spirit, and a great heart. He was fiercely protective of his loved ones, always prioritizing the well-being of his family and friends above all else, embodying a genuine love that resonated in every relationship he nurtured.

He leaves behind a devoted circle of loved ones who will forever carry his memory in their hearts: his father, Ronnie Stern; mother, Hollie Davis; brothers Dametheis Davis, Michael Amie, Dequarius Davis, and Kingston Craver Johnson; his uncles Rico Davis, Thomas Davis, Marcus Hamilton, and Deshawn Davis; aunts Annie Gilyard and Alice Young; and his beloved girlfriend, Kevelyn Gray. Their lives were brightened by Ryheem’s warmth, and their grief is a testament to the depth of his impact.

Ryheem is also remembered in loving memory alongside his grandmother Inez Davis, grandmother Nancy Young, and brother Theanthony Garrett, whose absence is profoundly felt.

A viewing to honor Ryheem’s life will be held on May 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224.
