Shaneka Austin, affectionately known as "Boo," passed away on June 8, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Dallas, Texas. Born on May 3, 1987, Shaneka touched the lives of many through her dedication and vibrant spirit.

Shaneka was a dedicated caregiver, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her lively personality, characterized by her fun-loving nature and fast-talking ways, made every interaction a joyful experience. She was a woman full of life, who believed in embracing each moment with enthusiasm. Whether she was dancing or sharing her latest collection of tennis shoes, Shaneka brought an infectious energy that uplifted those around her.

Her passions and interests were a testament to her vibrant spirit; she loved dancing and had a keen interest in collecting tennis shoes, often showcasing her unique style. This love for life and expression through her hobbies has left a lasting impression on her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral services will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (Allene), located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. A wake service will take place on June 26, 2025, at 7:15 PM, followed by the funeral service on June 27, 2025, with a start time of 1:00 PM.
