SHARANNA RENEE JOHNSON

Sharanna Johnson was born on March 22, 1993, in Dallas, Texas, to Charlotte Hunter and James Askew. She departed this life far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, kindness, and service. Sharanna was a loving and gentle soul whose radiant smile and warm personality could brighten any room. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, and friend who touched countless lives with her compassion and genuine spirit.

Sharanna's educational journey began at Elisha M. Pease and Maynard Jackson Elementary Schools. She continued her studies at Sarah Zumwalt Middle School before graduating from A. Maceo Smith High School. Determined to further her education, she attended Mountain View College and later earned her bachelor's degree from Commerce A&M University. During her college years, Sharanna also participated in several productions and theatrical performances, showcasing her creativity and passion for the arts.

Sharanna was a faithful servant of God throughout her life. She was a dedicated member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church for many years, where she faithfully served in the Media Ministry. After joining in holy matrimony with Christopher Johnson, she became a devoted member of Grateful Fellowship Community Church, where she continued her service in the Media Ministry. Her commitment to her faith and church family reflected her love for God and her desire to serve others.

Throughout her professional life, Sharanna held several positions that reflected her strong work ethic and dedication. Most recently, she proudly served with the Dallas ISD Police Department from 2024 until her untimely passing in 2026. She approached every role with professionalism, integrity, and a heart for helping others.

Sharanna will forever be remembered for her kind words, gentle smile, unwavering faith, and the warmth she brought into every life she touched.
