SHARMETRICE DIANE BOUTTE, a distinguished veteran and beloved community member, passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 54. Born on March 21, 1971, Sharmetrice was a vibrant soul known for her outgoing personality, passion for travel, and love for shopping and decorating.
Throughout her life, Sharmetrice demonstrated a steadfast commitment to her faith and a deep love for her country. She proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years, a period during which she forged numerous friendships and made significant contributions to her nation. After her remarkable military career, Sharmetrice embraced civilian life with the same enthusiasm she had exhibited during her service.
Sharmetrice’s spirit was infectious. She brought joy and laughter to those around her, making lasting impressions through her kindness and tenacity. Her adventurous nature saw her traveling to new places, always eager to experience life to its fullest. Known as a 'God-fearing woman,' she cultivated strong relationships rooted in faith and community.
In celebration of her life, family, friends, and community members are invited to gather for a viewing at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, on February 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the following day, February 7, 2026, at Words of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, starting at 11:00 AM. The final farewell and burial will take place at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on February 11, 2026, beginning at 9:15 AM.
Sharmetrice Diane Boutte's legacy of love, courage, and dedication to service will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered not only for her remarkable accomplishments but also for the warmth and enthusiasm she brought into every room. Her journey continues to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share their lives with her.
