With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Shaun Michael Roland Jr, who was born on February 19, 1999, and departed this life on July 29, 2026.

Shaun’s journey through life was marked by kindness, strength, and a vibrant spirit. Though his years were far too few, Shaun touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will endure in the hearts of family, friends, and all those who were inspired by his presence.

Shaun’s formative years and adulthood were shaped by experiences and moments that reflected his genuine character. He approached life with both determination and a sense of care for others, leaving a meaningful impression wherever he went.

Family, friends, and all whose lives Shaun graced are invited to gather and honor his memory. Visitation will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224, on Wednesday, August 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 920 14th Street, Plano, TX 75074.

Though Shaun’s time on earth was brief, the impact he had was profound, and his influence will continue in the lives of all who loved and cherished him. May he rest in peace, and may those who mourn his loss find comfort in their treasured memories.
