SHAVONDA YVETTE MCCREE

SHAVONDA YVETTE MCCREE, born on January 12, 1970, and entered eternal rest on December 25, 2024. She was a beloved mother, sister, and friend whose joyful spirit and infectious laughter will profoundly be missed by all who knew her.

Shavonda was a loving individual, known not only for her kind heart but also for her vibrant personality. Her love for her family was evident, as she raised one son and one daughter, both of whom were the light of her life. Beyond her role as a mother, Shavonda also cherished her brother and her nephew, and the bonds they shared were filled with love and warmth.

Professionally, Shavonda dedicated herself as a dialysis technician, where her commitment to caring for her patients and supporting her colleagues reflected her compassionate nature. She was recognized as a workaholic, but it was her drive and dedication that made her a great organizer, connecting those around her in both her personal and professional life.

A true songstress at heart, Shavonda found joy in music and often shared her talent with others. She was actively involved in her church, where she not only worshipped but also uplifted those in her community with her charisma and humor. Shavonda was known as a jokester, whose light-hearted jokes and laughter brought smiles to many faces.

Her journey in life may have ended, but the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

In honor of Shavonda's life, family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on January 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A Prayer Service will follow that same evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, held at the John Chapel within the funeral home. A Funeral Service will take place on January 11, 2025, at New El Bethel Baptist Church, commencing at 11:00 AM
