SHERRY LEANETTE JONES

Sherry Choice Jones, a beloved soul with a heart full of compassion and a spirit brimming with warmth, passed away on July 5, 2024, in her hometown of Dallas. She was born on February 9, 1959, and during her time on this earth, she touched the lives of many with her unwaving kindness and willingness to help others.

Sherry dedicated herself to a career as a customer representative for a bank car company, where her friendly demeanor and genuine care shone through in every interaction. Additionally, she extended her passion for aiding others by working alongside counselors in social services, making a positive impact on the community she held dear.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Sherry found joy and solace in simple pleasures. Gardening was not just a hobby for her but a form of therapy that allowed her to connect with nature and create beauty from the earth. Her culinary skills were renowned among family and friends, who eagerly awaited her delicious meals cooked with love. Furthermore, Sherry was an avid reader, finding escape and enlightenment within the pages of books that opened up new worlds before her eyes.

What truly defined Sherry's life was her profound love for people. Her infectious laughter brightened even the darkest days, and her willingness to lend a helping hand knew no bounds. Sherry's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly centered around her family; she cherished every moment spent with loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come. She dearly loved her dog, Blessed.  He will truly miss her.

In the wake of her passing, Sherry leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. While we mourn the loss of such a remarkable individual, we also celebrate the life she lived—a life filled with love, compassion, and an unyielding dedication to making the world a better place.
